How Cubemas works
-
A present every morning
From December 1, a numbered present lands on your child’s island each day. Three taps and it bursts open.
-
It builds itself, block by block
A cabin, a snowman, a train, an ice castle. Every surprise flies out of the box and snaps together right in front of them.
-
Then it’s theirs to play with
Tap anything and it does something. The train toots, penguins spin and the snowman swaps hats. Two minutes or twenty, it’s up to you.
25 surprises. One for every day.
Here are a few. The rest stay secret until their door opens, just like a real advent calendar.

From one little hill to a whole world
The island starts tiny on December 1. By Christmas Day it has a village, a train, floating islands, a baby dragon and Santa flying overhead.
Dec 1 Dec 25 A buddy of their very own
Your child picks a penguin, a reindeer calf or a polar bear cub and gives it a name. Golden bells hidden around the island unlock silly hats to dress it up.
Go on, tap one to try a hat.

Questions from grown-ups
What age is Cubemas for?
Cubemas is made for kids aged about 5 to 10. Younger children love it with a grown-up nearby, and older kids enjoy exploring every corner of the island.
Does my child need to be able to read?
No. Every message is read aloud, and the game is played by tapping, so early readers can play on their own.
What do we need to play?
Just a web browser. Cubemas runs on iPads and Android tablets, phones, Chromebooks and computers. There is nothing to download or install.
What if we miss a day?
Nothing is lost. Presents wait on the island, and you can open all the missed ones next time you play, even after Christmas.
We’re starting late. Can we still play?
Yes. You can follow the real December dates, or choose “Start today” in the grown-ups menu to open one door a day from whatever day you begin.
How long does it take each day?
Opening the present takes a minute or two. After that, kids can keep exploring as long as you like, but there is no reason to play for hours.
Is it safe for my child?
Yes. There are no ads, no chat and no other players. The only thing your child types is a name for their buddy. Grown-up settings sit behind a simple grown-up check.
How does it work with more than one child?
Each child gets their own island and calendar under one grown-up account. The first full calendar is $9.99 and each extra child is $4.99. You get a short code for each child to set up their own tablet.
Is it a subscription?
No. The first 5 days are free. Unlocking the rest is a single payment, with no subscription and nothing to buy inside the game.
What if it’s not right for us?
Try the 5 free days first. If you buy and change your mind, write to us within 14 days, before more than 3 paid presents are opened, and you’ll get your money back. If it doesn’t work on your device, you always get a refund. See the refund policy at the bottom of the page.
